If you suffer from generalized anxiety, know that you’re in good company!  Millions of Americans today experience the same thing, and it’s probably the most common reason that people come to see me.

Sometimes meds can help a person with anxiety to feel better, but meds almost always come with unwanted side effects.  I offer a healthy and natural approach to releasing and relieving anxiety with proven techniques that will change your world.

Anxiety comes in many shapes and sizes and can present in a variety of ways. It can look like fear of being around people (social anxiety), fear of driving… fear of flying… fear in small closed-in places like elevators…just to name a few. It could be diagnosed as Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), where you just feel extremely anxious all the time.

Sometimes anxiety is accompanied by crippling panic attacks, and other times; it just can just feel like an extremely nervous feeling with an inability to relax and stay calm.

To make matters worse, already existing anxiety can be exacerbated in this busy, crazy world with a constant barrage of phone notifications, social media exposure and world events.

My name is Jayne Goldman, and I’m a Certified Hypnotherapist and Master NLP Coach.  There are many natural and healthy techniques that I use in my practice to actually release the ROOT causes of anxiety. In fact, I specialize in a 4-hour breakthrough session to exactly accomplish that so that those negative feelings never rear their ugly heads again!

In the meantime, there is an NLP and Hypnosis technique that you can do yourself wherever you are whenever anxious feelings arise for you. Here are the 5 Steps to calm down when you feel anxious:

  • Think about the Picture you have in your head when you feel the way you don’t want to feel.  Are you imagining gloom and doom, or something positive?
  • Understand that this Picture, created by your thoughts, was put in your head by you… and only you.
  • Shrink the picture in your head down and make it tiny and dark.
  • Now… cover that up with a big bright picture of what you want to be thinking about.  Make it REALLY VIVID.
  • Focus all of your energy on that positive picture and experience the really good, relaxed feelings associated with it in your mind. Your emotions in the moment will reflect your thoughts in the moment. Hold onto those good feelings!

Just keep practicing and you’ll get good at it.  This is the kind of thing that Hypnotherapy and NLP techniques will reinforce.

Aside from doing the above, ditch technology once in a while and get out in nature more. Social media can make it hard to avoid comparisons to others, compounding existing anxiety. It’s really so important to shut off our brains as often as we can to re-juice and remember that we are really Human Beings and don’t need to be Humans “Doing” all the time.

If you want to know more about how Hypnotherapy and NLP Coaching can help you to create more calm in your life, I’d love to hear from you. I offer everyone a complimentary 30-minute phone consultation.
